The President of our firm, Congressman Alan Wheat, was a Member of Congress on the powerful House Rules Committee for twelve years and in the Missouri General Assembly for six years.  After leaving Congress he was a Vice President at SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline) then headed the Washington office of the international relief and development organization CARE, as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs.  In 1996 he was asked by President Clinton and served as Deputy Campaign Manager for the Clinton-Gore campaign.

Julie Shroyer is Senior Vice President at Wheat Government Relations.  She has seventeen years of federal policy experience including service on Capitol Hill as committee staff and in senior positions with non-profit organizations and the private sector.  During her five-year tenure at Wheat Government Relations she has used her expertise to help our diverse client base advance their policy goals.  She provides our clients with a policy-related substance that is critical to key decision makers on the Hill and in the agencies.
